House Republicans are making a second attempt to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday evening, after a handful of Republicans caused the vote to fail last week.
Republicans are seeking the impeachment in response to Mayorkas’s handling of the immigration crisis on the United States Southern border. The lawmakers claim that Mayorkas was “derelict in his duty.”
