Haley will walk away from the GOP presidential primary as the first woman to win a Republican presidential primary contest, having won primaries in Washington, D.C., and Vermont. She was the last remaining major challenger to Trump after most other major candidates dropped out following the Iowa caucuses in January.

The former South Carolina governor is not expected to endorse Trump but instead encourage him to earn the votes of the Republicans who have refused to back him.
