A train derailed in Warner Robins, Georgia, near a military base, according to police.
IRAN TRAIN DERAILMENT LEAVES AT LEAST 21 DEAD AND 87 INJURED
The derailment occurred near Robins Air Force Base in the middlemost part of the state.
Local police said there were no injuries reported and no details on how the train derailed, according to a CBS affiliate in Macon.
The Warner Robins Police Department said the derailment has caused parts of Georgia state Route 247 to be closed in both directions.
Traffic Alert!!! Highway 247 north and south bound between MLK and North Davis Drive is shut down due to a train derailment. Watson Blvd / Hwy 247 intersection is blocked. Avoid the area!!!
