Police are searching for a Texas man who stole a lawnmower from a residential building — but not without mowing the homeowners’ lawn, according to video of the incident.
Marcus Hubbard was seen on April 1 using the device to mow the owners’ lawn before stealing it, according to footage released Thursday by the Port Arthur Police, which now has a warrant out for his arrest.
“Upon Officers arrival Hubbard is seen running from the area while dragging the lawnmower with him,” the Port Arthur Police Department wrote in a Facebook post Friday. “He abandons the lawnmower in an alley and evades apprehension.”

Hubbard even filled the mower up with gasoline before he stole it, according to the video.
The suspected burglar evaded apprehension after he abandoned the lawnmower in an alley, police said. The names of the homeowners were not provided.
