Chicago Cubs manager David Ross jumped out of an interview to argue with the umpire during a game against the New York Mets on Saturday night.

The baseball moment, caught on camera, happened during the third inning, when home plate umpire John Tumpane called strike three on outfielder Ian Happ and Happ got ejected after arguing with the umpire.

“Oh, that could’ve been down, come on,” Ross said before darting to the umpire.

“Happ didn’t like the call there from John Tumpane right there. And Ian Happ has been ejected, and David Ross has ejected the headset,” said broadcaster Jon Sciambi on the Marquee Sports Network.

Ross did not get ejected, but if he had, it would have been the third time in a row, as he was pulled during a game on Friday and the first in the doubleheader on Saturday, the New York Post noted.

The Cubs lost both games in Chicago to the Mets on Saturday in extra innings.
