Donald Trump responded to President Joe Biden’s recent comment that he would be “happy to debate” the former president on the Howard Stern Show with a Truth Social post calling out his successor to debate him in New York City.

Trump said he would debate Biden “ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE” and would even “wait around” for the president to come to the courthouse Friday. At 4:50 p.m. Trump said he was still waiting.

Trump demanded Biden debate him Friday night knowing that Biden had been in New York City for the interview with Stern, though it seems the president had already returned to the White House.

“In the alternative, he’s in New York City today, although probably doesn’t know it, and so am I, stuck in one of the many Court cases that he instigated as ELECTION INTERFERENCE AGAINST A POLITICAL OPPONENT – A CONTINUING WITCH HUNT,” Trump wrote.

“It’s the only way he thinks he can win,” he continued. “In fact, let’s do the Debate at the Courthouse tonight – on National Television, I’ll wait around!”

Despite Trump’s recent willingness to debate Biden, he did not participate in any of the five Republican primary debates, but he easily clinched the GOP presidential nomination anyway.

The two debated twice during the 2020 election cycle as Biden gathered voters’ favor in separate polls following each debate. The general election debates are scheduled for Sept. 16 in Texas, Oct. 1 in Virginia, and Oct. 9 in Utah with a vice presidential debate set for Sept. 25 in Pennsylvania.
