Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo is set to make his first television interview since his firing from the company last year.

CHRIS CUOMO ACCUSES CNN OF ‘SMEARING’ HIS JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY IN NEW FILING

“His first television interview since leaving CNN … what he’s doing now, what he’s doing next, and answering the tough questions about his past,” Abrams says in the clip.

Cuomo was fired from CNN last year over revelations that he helped his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, combat sexual misconduct allegations that ultimately culminated in his resignation as governor. The then anchor reportedly leaned on his media contacts to gather information about his brother’s accusers. The former governor denied all allegations of inappropriate touching.

Chris Cuomo has been popping up in the public eye lately, returning to Instagram in late June, showing photos of his experiences in Ukraine, and teasing future projects. He now has “FREE AGENT” in his Twitter bio. Chris Cuomo applied to be a volunteer firefighter in his swanky East Hampton neighborhood before withdrawing his application due to scheduling constraints during the weeks that followed his ouster from CNN, the Daily Beast reported this week.

Despite his return to social media, Chris Cuomo has yet to comment publicly on his departure from CNN or to appear on television. In March, Chris Cuomo filed a demand for arbitration against CNN, seeking $125 million in damages and claiming his “journalistic integrity” was “unjustifiably smeared.”
