The visit marks Trump’s first to Western Pennsylvania during his 2024 campaign, but has made stops in the Eastern side of the state. Butler County proves friendly to the former president as he won it by margins of about two-to-one in both 2016 and 2020.

Trump is expected to tease his vice presidential pick, whom he has not yet announced, at the rally. The final contenders include Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND).
The rally comes just two days before the Republican National Convention begins.
