President Joe Biden is still positive for COVID-19 and closing in on two weeks of dealing with the disease.
The latest note from Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s personal physician, says he’s still positive and experiencing an “occasional cough” that is less frequent than it was yesterday.

“The president continues to feel well. his morning’s exam was conducted after the president finished a light workout, which he enjoyed,” the letter reads. “He remains fever-free and in good spirits. His temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation remain entirely normal. His lungs remain clear.”
Biden prematurely celebrated victory over his infection last week before testing positive again over the weekend. The return of positive tests sometimes happens with patients, like Biden, who treated symptoms with Paxlovid, though the White House insists it’s a rare occurrence.
Wednesday marks the fourth full day since Biden’s second string of positive tests. He’s been working out of the White House throughout his bout with COVID-19, which has featured only mild symptoms, and making virtual appearances.

Administration officials appear confident that he will soon test negative again, as they’ve scheduled a bill signing for the CHIPS and Science Act in the Rose Garden next Tuesday.
