Dan Bongino fired off profanity when reacting to news that the FBI raided President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort on Monday.
“This is some third-world bulls*** right here,” the popular conservative commentator said on Fox News. “Let me say it again: third-world bulls***. I mean every world of that. I don’t care that it’s cable news.”
Bongino’s irate reaction mirrors that of many allies of Trump, who announced the raid. The FBI search was related to Trump’s handling of presidential records, including classified documents, after leaving office, sources told CNN.
Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who has interviewed Trump many times over the years, raised doubts about the motives of the federal government, questioning whether the raid was because of Trump’s politics, and argued that the FBI’s reputation is now in jeopardy.

“I have paid due deference to the FBI for a long time, and a lot of listeners didn’t like it because I worked with some very good people over there who have since retired,” Bongino said. “The management of the FBI has now shredded any single shred — sliver of credibility this agency had left. Nobody will take them seriously from this point on. It is over.”
So far, the Justice Department and FBI have declined to comment on the matter.
