The former president’s campaign highlighted inflation and other economic troubles under the Biden-Harris administration in its announcement of the Georgia rally. Trump’s campaign says he has a “track record of economic success and will make the American dream of homeownership and economic stability a reality again for Georgians.”
Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign has also rallied in the Peach State recently, with a high-profile event last week featuring the vice president, former President Barack Obama, and Bruce Springsteen.

Georgia is one of the key battleground states in the race for the White House, having gone for Trump in 2016 and President Joe Biden in 2020. The state is rated as a “toss up” by the Cook Political Report.
The RealClearPolitics polling average in the Peach State shows that Trump leads Harris, 49.2%-46.9%.
