Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump drove around in a garbage truck in Wisconsin to troll his Democratic rival Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden after the president’s “garbage” insult.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump said to reporters on Wednesday as he sat wearing an orange reflective vest in a white garbage truck emblazoned with his campaign logo, “Trump Make America Great Again 2024.”

He went on to say that 250 million Americans “don’t use terms like that.”

“It‘s a shame. And Joe Biden should be ashamed of himself, if he knows what he‘s even doing, and she should be ashamed,” Trump added, referencing Harris.

He wrapped up his remarks talking to reporters by saying, “I hope you enjoyed this garbage truck.”

Trump appeared a few minutes later at his Green Bay rally still wearing the same garbage orange vest.

Trump surrogate Vivek Ramaswamy was also seen helping a garbage truck worker collect garbage while he wore an orange vest.

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump told his rallygoers in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, that Biden was saying what “Joe and Kamala” really think of his supporters.

“You can’t be president if you hate the American people,” he said. “Frankly, they’ve treated you like garbage.”

Harris has attempted to distance herself from Biden’s “garbage” comment.

“Listen, I think, first of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear: I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for. You heard my speech last night and continuously throughout my career. I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people whether they support me or not,” Harris said Wednesday on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to clean up the president’s comments Wednesday during the daily White House press briefing.

“Just to clarify, he was not calling Trump supporters garbage,” Jean-Pierre told reporters.
