Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is raising questions on social media after tweeting an ad for a rally on Sunday with the Teamsters and the Association of Flight Attendants in Boston with a familiar look.
The poster features pink and orange lettering, resembling the font used by Dunkin’ Donuts, urging people to come out and support the fight against “corporate greed.”
“America runs on solidarity,” the poster reads. That slogan is similar to the company’s “America runs on Dunkin.”

I grew up in a 3-and-a-half-room, rent-controlled apartment. I’ll be damned if I’m going to let a handful of billionaires control this country.
I’m in Boston today to rally with @Teamsters President Sean O’Brien, and @afa_cwa President Sara Nelson. I hope you’ll join us there. pic.twitter.com/RRepRZtV5s

The post received an immediate response on Twitter, with many asking about the design.
“This important message is minimized by the garish pink and orange Dunkin’ Donuts font. You can and should do much better,” one user wrote.
“I thought this was a Dunkin Donuts ad at first…but fits well with your two bit carnival barker style. “You’ll be damned” you say? No more billionaires? Good luck with that and let me know how it turns out,” another respondent tweeted.
The Washington Examiner has reached out to Dunkin’ and Sen. Sanders for a response.
Sanders held a similar rally on Saturday in Philadelphia.
