JOHNSON FACES UNITY TEST ON SPENDING DEAL AS DEMOCRATS PROMISE NOT TO HELP GOP
The news conference comes as Johnson attempts to pass through a continuing resolution Tuesday to fund the government through the end of September with his narrow majority in the House, as Democrats insist they will oppose the stopgap measure.
