Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Department of Justice had opened an investigation into multiple acts of vandalism against Tesla dealerships, vehicles, and charging stations.

For nearly two months, Elon Musk’s electric vehicle company has been targeted by violent demonstrators outraged over the work he is doing as leader of the Department of Government Efficiency. In at least fifteen incidents across the country, vandals have destroyed or damaged vehicles, opened gunfire at dealerships, and left Nazi slurs, according to a Forbes analysis.

During an interview on Fox Business’s Mornings with Maria Friday, Bondi revealed the DOJ is embarking on an effort to crack down on the anti-DOGE activists, warning “If you’re going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out because we’re coming after you.”

One suspect who has already been arrested on charges of throwing Molotov cocktails and shooting at a Tesla dealership on two separate occasions in Salem, Oregon, is facing 20 years in prison, Bondi said.

The investigation comes after House DOGE subcommittee Chairwoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called on Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to investigate a “wave of organized attacks” targeting Musk’s company.

“Who is behind it? Who is funding it? Is there a link with Democrat-leaning NGOs? We look forward to exposing these terrorists and bringing them to justice!” Greene said.

Musk has claimed the protests are being orchestrated by Indivisible and four other professional partisan organizations funded by ActBlue, a powerful Democratic fundraising machine under congressional investigation for fraudulent and illicit financial activity.

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH ACTBLUE?

Indivisible is an organization with links to left-wing billionaire George Soros that has dedicated itself to organizing anti-Tesla campaigns.

The anti-Tesla violence and protests are not isolated to the United States, as France and Germany have seen similar activity in response to Musk’s vocal support of right-wing European political parties.
