Former Attorney General William Barr dismissed former President Donald Trump‘s claims that he was a Republican In Name Only, or RINO, on Tuesday.
Barr, who has frequently sparred with the former president since leaving office, laughed off the accusation during a Tuesday appearance on Fox’s The Story with Martha MacCallum.

“A RINO for him is anyone who disagrees with him that the election was stolen. Right, that’s a ‘RINO,'” Barr said. “Now, as someone who handed out Barry Goldwater literature when I was 14-years-old on the Upper West Side, it’s a little silly.”
Trump called Barr a “weak and pathetic RINO” on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Friday, after Barr said there was no reason Trump should have had documents stored at his residence at Mar-a-Lago.

On Monday, a judge granted the Trump team’s motion to appoint a special master to review the documents seized by the FBI during a raid on Mar-a-Lago last month.
