Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) referred to President Joe Biden as the “Woker-in-Chief” on Friday, slamming the administration for hiring thousands of “woke” staff members who hate important historical figures.
Woke staff members in the Biden administration are “easy to identify” because they hate important people in U.S. history, the senator argued on a segment of Fox News’s The Story.

“Wokers are easy to recognize: They hate George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Seuss, and Mr. Potato Head,” Kennedy said. “Wokers respect no one’s opinion but their own.”

Wokers believe that America was “wicked” when it was created and is even worse now, Kennedy said, alleging they believe ordinary U.S. citizens are “racist” or “ignorant.” The ideologies pushed by the far Left are being pushed by the president himself, the senator claimed.
“President Biden is the woker in chief,” the Louisiana Republican said. “The people of Georgia, for example, decided that they don’t want to have an election month anymore. They want to have an election day. President Biden called them racists. The people of Florida decided they didn’t want government officials talking to their 5-year-old children about their sexuality. President Biden said they’re bigots.”
Kennedy’s comments follow the Biden administration condemning Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) for signing Georgia’s election integrity law in 2021, calling it “Jim Crow 2.0.” More recently, Biden condemned Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for the passage of his education bill that was dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill due to a provision that barred classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity from preschool through third grade.
Regardless of their personal political views, government officials are not allowed to wield the power of the federal government to make banks and businesses comply, Kennedy added.
