Christian Walker put his father, Georgia Senate hopeful Herschel Walker, on blast Monday after a report claimed the GOP candidate paid for his ex-girlfriend’s abortion years ago.
The younger Walker, who has a large following on social media, said in a Twitter screed that his father’s family asked him not to run for office but that his father decided to “air out all of his dirty laundry in public” while “lying about it.”
“I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us,” Christian Walker added. “You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”
“I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some ‘moral, Christian, upright man.’ You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you,” he also said.

Herschel Walker, who hopes to unseat Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, denied the report that he paid for a woman’s abortion while the two were dating in 2009. He also threatened to sue the news outlet that published it, the Daily Beast, saying, “This is another repugnant hatchet job from a democrat activist disguised as a reporter who has obsessively attacked my family and tried to tear me down since this race started.”
The elder Walker, who is a former NFL player, had Christian with wife Cindy Deangelis Grossman, with whom he was married from 1983 to 2002. During the campaign, it has been revealed that Herschel Walker had other children he had not previously acknowledged.
