Georgia GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker launched a statewide ad accusing Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock of running a “nasty, dishonest campaign” shortly after a story broke alleging Walker encouraged and paid for a woman’s abortion.

In the 30-second television spot, Walker says Warnock has portrayed him in a false light over his past struggles with mental health, adding that “by the grace of God,” he has overcome it.

WALKER ABORTION ALLEGATIONS AND TONGUE-LASHING FROM SON COMPLICATE EFFORT TO UNSEAT WARNOCK

“Raphael Warnock’s running a nasty, dishonest campaign — perfect for Washington. The reverend doesn’t even tell my full story, my true story,” Walker says in the clip.

“As everyone knows, I had a real battle with mental health. I even wrote a book about it. And by the grace of God, I’ve overcome it. Warnock’s a preacher who doesn’t tell the truth. He doesn’t even believe in redemption,” he added. “I’m Herschel Walker, saved by grace, and I approve this message.”

The commercial comes as the candidates are locked in a heated battle for the coveted Senate seat, with Warnock supporters releasing ads hitting Walker for allegedly threatening his ex-wife with a gun more than a decade ago, in addition to other controversies.

The Walker campaign, for its part, has seized on allegations by Warnock’s ex-wife, who claimed the senator ran over her foot with a car. Warnock has denied any wrongdoing.
