Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West said he "didn't realize" the relationship his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, had with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West said he “didn’t realize” the relationship his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, had with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

“It was wild that I didn’t know how close my own wife was to the Clintons,” West said on Fox News’s Tucker Carlson Tonight. “I didn’t realize it at the time.”

Host Tucker Carlson then pressed West on just how close that relationship was.

“Cellphone away … or ‘Hey, tell Ye to say this’ away, or they go out and use your platform to push the [COVID-19] vaccination,” West responded.

West said there was attempted political manipulation because of the relationship Kardashian had with them.

“Me not saying I like Trump was a form of manipulation,” West said.

Carlson asked West why he is a fan of former President Donald Trump.

“I keep telling this joke: If people say Trump was the first black president, I’m going to be the first Latino president. Because all of the values … the conservative values just line up. C’mon, man. Trump’s the s*** — what do you mean? He has his own buildings. What are you talking about? He’s like … Ralph Lauren. He made Ivanka,” West responded.

West said he recently had a dinner with Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Josh Kushner, who he learned was a partial owner of the lingerie line Skims, which is owned by Kardashian and West.

“I found out that Josh Kushner had 10% of Skims and I had 5% of Skims,” West said. “For me to have been an owner in it and have not known..”

West also accused the trio of trying to hold Trump back.

“They love to just look at me or look at Trump like they’re so crazy and like they’re the businessmen,” West said.

West said that in the beginning, he had to hide his feelings about Trump.

“I never actually told people that I liked Trump when he was running because I was bullied by Hollywood. Because I stayed in Hollywood and people are like, ‘Ghink about your kids,’ and I’m trying to hold on to the marriage, so I’m just biting my tongue. Like, there’s so many fathers and mothers that go to work every day, and they’re in a situation where they’re biting their tongue because they think it’ll be better for their children. So even me in my position, I was biting my tongue on my political opinion because I thought it would be better for my children,” West said.

Part two of the interview with West will air on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Friday.
