With days left before voters render their midterm verdict, both Democrats and Republicans are calling on their biggest stars to campaign for some of their most vulnerable candidates.
The sprint to Election Day has brought former President Donald Trump back into the spotlight in the most significant way since 2020. He has crisscrossed the country for weeks and will spend some of the final hours of the race stumping for Mehmet Oz, the Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania.
Despite his unpopularity in the polls, President Joe Biden has maintained a packed schedule campaigning for Democrats in the weeks leading up to the election. Although he has appeared frequently alongside Democratic candidates, he has stayed away from some centrist Democrats (such as Rep. Tim Ryan, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Ohio) running in states where the Biden agenda is especially controversial.

And former President Barack Obama has emerged from political retirement to help salvage a message that some Democrats have acknowledged lacked focus earlier in the campaign season.
All three men will intersect in Pennsylvania this weekend to stump for the state’s crucial Senate race before heading off to other battlegrounds in the final three days of the election.
