Today co-host Savannah Guthrie posted a video on social media offering a $1 million reward for the “miracle” recovery of Nancy Guthrie on day 24 of her disappearance.

In an emotional plea, Savannah Guthrie acknowledged that her mother may already be dead, but said her family would accept that outcome. However, the popular celebrity said that she and her family are determined to bring Nancy Guthrie home.

“For that reason, we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads us to her recovery,” Savannah Guthrie said. “Someone out there knows something that can bring her home. Somebody knows, and we are begging you to please come forward now.”

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing from her Arizona home Jan. 31, and authorities have determined her disappearance to be a kidnapping.

The FBI, which is working with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, has offered a $100,000 reward for any information that leads to the recovery of Guthrie or to the arrest and conviction of those involved in her disappearance.

Savannah Guthrie noted in her video that a loved one going missing is an experience that is not unique to her family.

“We also know that we are not alone in our loss. We know there are millions of families that have suffered with this kind of uncertainty,” Savannah Guthrie said, adding that her family would be donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom and our family will extend to all the families like ours.”

Savannah Guthrie’s plea for her mother’s return comes as the Pima County Sheriff’s Department wrestles with claims it says are unsubstantiated about doorbell footage released by the FBI.

Multiple outlets report that the photos and videos released showing the suspect caught on Nancy Gurthrie’s doorbell camera were taken on two separate days, rather than just Feb. 1.

The sheriff’s department said speculation that the suspect was captured on video at Guthrie’s residence before the day she disappeared is unsubstantiated. The department said the photos and videos do not include date or time stamps.

SHERIFF DOWNPLAYS REPORTS THAT SUSPECT APPROACHED NANCY GUTHRIE’S HOME BEFORE HER KIDNAPPING

Video released by the FBI on Feb. 10 showed a masked man wearing gloves and a backpack at the home during the early morning hours on Feb. 1. Authorities have described the suspect as a male of average build, roughly 5’ 9” to 5′ 10” tall, but have not confirmed any personal identity details or motive.

Law enforcement has detained suspects, but they were later released. The Guthrie family has also been cleared of any involvement.
