Energy Secretary Chris Wright is testifying in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee ahead of the 2027 Defense Authorization Request.
His hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
Wright’s testimony will focus on the U.S. atomic energy defense and nuclear security program.
He’s mostly been in the news lately over rising gas prices due to the war with Iran. In a Sunday interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Wright said the U.S. was in a “tremendous position,” but that he doesn’t “know the future of gas prices.”
