Senate Republican leadership launched their first video advertisement of the New Hampshire Senate general election against Democratic candidate Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH), painting him as a “liar” using a clip from a 2020 debate.

The Senate Leadership Fund launched the ad titled “Chris Pappas Lied to Voters” on Wednesday, featuring a clip from a 2020 U.S. House debate Pappas had against his GOP opponent Matt Mowers. Mowers had pressed Pappas about a relationship he had with a former Amazon lobbyist while he voted on legislation in the House affecting Amazon. Pappas initially denied the relationship onstage, but later admitted to it.
