Paul Pelosi, husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), attended the State of the Union address Tuesday.
Paul Pelosi was invited to Biden’s 2023 State of the Union address. He was seated next to Lead U2 singer Bono and Oksana Markarova, the Ukrainian ambassador to the United States. He was sporting a fedora, likely covering up the scars from his surgery following the attack.

Pelosi had to undergo a “pretty serious operation,” his wife said in a November interview.
“What they have to do is they have to take off the skull, reshape it, and put it back so it isn’t scratched or [could] pierce the brain,” she said.

He was released from the hospital six days after the attack and has been recovering at home ever since. His suspected attacker, 42-year-old David DePape, faces a slew of criminal charges. They include attempted murder. He has pleaded not guilty.
