Steve Goncalves, the father of Kaylee Goncalves, has pushed for the death penalty for Kohberger if he is found guilty. Based on a new law introduced in the state legislature, Kohberger could be executed by firing squad if he is found guilty and sentenced to death. The method was previously legal in the state from 1982 to 2009.
