Donald Trump Jr. channeled Willy Wonka during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday night by hiding a golden ticket in candy bars surreptitiously placed under seats at the conference.

Trump told attendees that if they found a golden ticket in the candy bar, then they won one of the limited VIP tickets to a reception with his father, former President Donald Trump, that will take place at the conference on Saturday afternoon.

“Check under your seats,” Trump Jr. said. “If there happens to be a gold chocolate bar underneath there — no, I’m not joking — that’s a VIP ticket to my father’s reception tomorrow at CPAC.”

It is unclear how many tickets were hidden under people’s seats, but multiple cheers were heard in the auditorium, according to the Hill.

Trump Jr. delivered a 15-minute speech at the conservative conference, which took place in National Harbor, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. The former first son’s speech also earned him some political backlash after he poked fun at Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who suffered a stroke last year and checked himself into the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for depression last month.

“When I said, like, I don’t know, it’s sort of weird that Pennsylvania managed to elect a vegetable, they criticize me as being ableist,” Trump Jr. said. “I didn’t know what that was. But there’s always an ‘ist.’ It doesn’t matter what you’re talking about. And apparently, an ableist is someone who discriminates against those with disabilities.”

He continued, “I’d love for John Fetterman to have, like, good, gainful employment. Maybe he could be, like, a bag guy at a grocery store. But, like, is it unreasonable for me to expect, as a citizen of the United States of America, to have a United States senator have basic cognitive function?”

Other speakers at CPAC this year included former Ambassador to the United Nations and South Carolina GOP Gov. Nikki Haley, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson.
