Former senior Trump adviser Stephen Miller testified in front of a grand jury on Tuesday regarding a conversation he had with former President Donald Trump on Jan. 6.

Miller appeared at a Washington, D.C., courthouse on Tuesday with his lawyer and prosecutors from the office of special counsel Jack Smith, CNN reported. The key Trump ally was likely questioned about a phone call he had with Trump just minutes before a rally at the ellipse, which preceded the Jan. 6 riot.

Miller was made to testify by a judge’s ruling after appearing in November and refusing to answer some questions over Trump’s wish to assert executive privilege over some conversations.

Miller is the latest of several high-ranking Trump officials to be called to testify again due to a judge’s ruling that denied Trump’s attempt to prevent investigators from obtaining some of his private communications.

When reached, Miller declined to comment to CNN or Bloomberg.
