British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will face a vote on Monday that could remove him from office.
The no-confidence vote was triggered after a party leader said on Monday that he has received enough letters, 54, from Conservative Party lawmakers to hold a vote on the fate of Johnson’s leadership. The vote will be held in the House of Commons on Monday.
“The threshold of 15% has been passed,” Member of Parliament Graham Brady said Monday, referring to the fact that 15% of Tory’s in the House of Commons have submitted letters demanding the vote.
