Virginia’s first Buc-ee’s location is shaping up to be bigger than initially expected, as the convenience store chain is expanding its plan for the new spot.
The company has stated that the new property will be expanding to 75,000 square feet of retail space, with their available parking spaces to be big enough for 650 cars. The original plan was for the property to consist of over 74,000 square feet of retail space, 120 fueling positions, EV charging stations, and 557 parking spaces, according to local news station WAVY.

The location, which will be constructed in New Kent County, Virginia, is expected to be completed within two years. It will be located off of Interstate 64.
The company announced its first Virginia location earlier this year. Currently, the Buc-ee’s location nearest to New Kent County is located nearly 300 miles away along Interstate 95 outside Florence, South Carolina.
