The manhunt for a suspected gunman that authorities say was responsible for the murders of four people in Georgia has come to an end, following a shootout with authorities.
Hampton officials confirmed that at least three members of law enforcement were also injured in the incident.

Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett said the the suspected gunman, Andre Longmore, 40, was fatally shot in an exchange of gunfire with deputies and police officers Sunday afternoon.
Scandrett further announced added that a Clayton County deputy was shot in the back — requiring a Life Flight to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Police initiated a manhunt for Longmore on Saturday, which is when officials said he opened fire on residents in a subdivision located about 30 miles outside of Atlanta, killing three men and a woman.
The victims have since been identified as Scott Leavitt, 67; Shirley Leavitt, 66; Steve Blizzard, 65; and Ronald Jeffers, 66.
