Police in Maryland are searching for a prisoner who escaped from a transport van on Wednesday morning.
The manhunt for Randy Morris, 38, who had been incarcerated for burglary, is currently underway in Jessup, about 15 miles southwest of Baltimore, Maryland, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Around 8:30am police were notified that a Dept of Corrections inmate, incarcerated for burglary, escaped a transport van in the area of Dorsey Run Rd/32. Police are looking on foot and via drones for the Department of Corrections inmate. The Howard County Police Department describes Morris as a bald white male with a beard, five feet nine inches tall, and 130 to 140 pounds. He is no longer in handcuffs and was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.
