Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) pushed for an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, calling him “an arrogant guy who can’t control his mouth.”

Tenney spoke about allegations that the president and his son, Hunter Biden, accepted bribes from a Ukrainian firm, accusing Joe Biden of “using his son as a proxy” during an appearance on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures.

“You have all this money going to the Biden family, not because they’re all experts, certainly Hunter Biden is not an expert on energy,” Tenney said, citing evidence from Devon Archer and former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who alleged corruption involving then-Vice President Joe Biden, which led to Shokin’s firing in 2016.

“Joe Biden is an arrogant guy who can’t control his mouth,” Tenney said.

House Republicans have threatened to cut Justice Department and FBI funding over the handling of the Hunter Biden investigation.

“I think it’s a great idea, and I think a lot of people are advancing it, Tenney said. “I fully support cutting off certain funding for various groups. I mean, the FBI is out of control, completely corrupt, slow-walking this Hunter Biden investigation.”

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and other Republicans have threatened to launch impeachment inquiries against Attorney General Merrick Garland, with other GOP lawmakers threatening FBI Director Christopher Wray with impeachment as well.

“And then we have a Department of Justice under, I think, the most corrupt attorney general we ever had,” Tenney said. “I call him a dirty cop, Merrick Garland, for what he’s been doing.”

The House Oversight Committee has demanded multiple documents and records from Biden family members, moving closer toward starting the process to open an impeachment inquiry into the president if the administration isn’t compliant with the Republican-led investigation.

“Why aren’t we all talking about the fact that this is how they used his [Joe Biden] position to enrich themselves, to enrich their family,” Tenney said. “That’s money laundering. There’s bribery, of course, that I think we could prove,” the New York Republican said, likely referring to Hunter Biden’s alleged WhatsApp message to his daughter in 2019 discussing his salary.
