Konstantine Anthony, the Democratic mayor of Burbank, California, was seen in a viral Libs of TikTok video being spanked by drag queen Foxxy Roxywood at a campaign event over the weekend.

The Sept. 9 event was called Drag Queen Bingo. It was a fundraiser for California state senate candidate Kipp Mueller, hosted by the Santa Clarita Valley Democrats.

Andrew Taban, chairman of the Santa Clarita Valley Democrats, posted photos of the event on Sunday, writing on Instagram: “What a day yesterday! @SCVDens wanted to celebrate #California’s bday & we certainly did – by working w/ our #community to protect democracy!”

The video of the spanking of the Burbank mayor at the campaign event made its way to the popular social media account Libs of TikTok and went viral, rapidly growing to over six million views on X, the platform formerly called Twitter.

The Libs of TikTok post claimed that the mayor “received a spanking from a drag queen in front of children.”

The self-described “Mayor Spanky” shot back on social media, disputing the claim that children were in attendance.

“Actually, there weren’t any children at this private 21+ event. But of course lying is totally on brand for you,” Anthony said in response to the viral video post.

“So why does the advertisement say 15+?” the Libs of TikTok account asked the mayor.

“Regardless of advertising, there were no children at the event. But you weren’t there, so you wouldn’t know. Easier to speculate and lie, right?” Anthony responded.

The back-and-forth continued between the mayor and the Libs of Tiktok account with a photo of a child in a slide of Instagram photos from the chairman of the Santa Clarita Valley Democrats.

“You lied. Also here’s a photo of a kid who joined the event! Posted on the event organizer’s account!” the conservative account clapped back.

The mayor pushed back at the claim of the child in question and said that the child was from “a completely different event 11 hours earlier.”

The Washington Examiner reached out to the event organizer to verify the mayor’s statements that no children were in attendance and had not received comment at time of publication.

Anthony is currently running for Los Angeles County supervisor. He previously was an improv comedian for 20 years and describes himself as “actually autistic” in his social media biography.
