Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) told Fox News hosts to “stay focused on the issues that matter” after the pair raised questions about Flores’s past posts regarding QAnon.
The congresswoman explained that her use of QAnon hashtags on social media involved her opposition to QAnon, according to video.
Flores had used the hashtag #WWG1WGA in several posts.

“I’m just wondering where you come down on that whole QAnon thing,” John Roberts of Fox News said.
Flores dismissed her use of the hashtag and said she has “never supported any of those conspiracies and none of this nonsense.”
“Again, Washington wants us to focus on nonsense,” Flores said. “I’m focused on the issues that matter in my district and right now, we’re focused on the increase of gas, increase of groceries, food, and the increase of healthcare.”
“Stay focused,” she continued. “Stay focused on the issues that matter.”
Roberts insisted that his network is focused on issues that matter before asking again.
“We are just wondering what you say to the critics who point to that, and we’re curious why you would have included those in the first place,” he said.

“I’ve said it over and over. I’ve never supported any of those conspiracies. Again, stay focused on the issues that really matter to the American people: border crisis and, of course, the economy,” Flores said.
