The Israel Defense Forces published footage of their Shayetet 13 Special Forces Unit recapturing the Sufa Military Outpost, located in southern Israel, from Hamas.
The operation, which took place on Saturday, was a coordinated effort between active duty and reserve members to take back the base from Hamas terrorists. The point-of-view video shows the soldiers from the Shayetet 13 commando unit battling Hamas fighters, shooting multiple rounds and capturing militants in the process.

“Shayetet, Shayetet, stay in the bunker, we’re coming,” one of the officers said, according to the Times of Israel translation.
The IDF said Shayetet 13 soldiers were airlifted to the scene on Saturday after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel as the terrorist group fired more than 3,500 rockets throughout the day, the Israeli military said.

The wide-ranging attacks have left more than 1,200 people dead in Israel, including 27 Americans, and over 1,500 have been killed in Gaza, the Gaza-based Health Ministry reported Thursday. Thousands are wounded, and an undetermined number of people remain missing.
Shayetet 13 troops have killed over 60 Hamas terrorists in the Sufa post and rescued around 250 hostages, the Times of Israel reported, per the IDF.
