A Las Vegas man was charged for sending threatening voicemails to a Jewish senator.
John Anthony Miller, 43, was accused by the Department of Justice of threatening to kidnap and murder Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) in a series of voicemails sent from Oct. 11 to Oct. 19. He showed up at the Lloyd D. George Courthouse on Oct. 17 in an attempt to see Rosen in person and became erratic when he was denied entry by a security guard.

Several of the expletive-ridden voicemails, detailed in the criminal complaint, blended insults and threats against the Jewish senator and were focused around her Jewish identity and support for Israel.
“All these f***ing lies is in your f***ing hands, you f***ing b****, and I’m going to f***ing see you soon, you f***ing sellout f***ing f***** b****,” one of the voicemails allegedly said.
“You just f***ing woken up a motherf***ing monster, you f***ing piece of s*** unhuman, subhuman, you’re vermin, b****, you are vermin, b****, and we’re going to finish what Hitler started, you f***ing s***,” another said.
In one voicemail, Miller allegedly asked Rosen if any of her family members were Israeli settlers and said she would allow them to come back into the United States.
“I’m pretty sure she would, she would, uh, not make it illegal for these savage Israeli settlers to come back and — 450 thousand of ’em are American and are able to co-commit war crimes and come back and forth back and forth. Huh? Yeah I-I-I pretty sure she is,” Miller was quoted as saying. “She lets her own family members kill these Palestinians in the West Bank. The Christians in the West Bank. Senator … you’re a piece of s*** and you’re going to burn in f***ing hell for your f***ing crimes.”
Miller was arrested on Oct. 26 and was charged with one count of threatening a federal official. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 13.

Rosen has been outspoken in her support for Israel, particularly after the deadly Oct. 7 surprise attack from Hamas, which killed over 1,400 Israeli civilians.
“I wear my #BlueRibbonsforIsrael because we must not rest until all hostages have been returned home safely,” she said in a post on X, the social media outlet previously known as Twitter, on Sunday.
