Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley hit at former President Donald Trump‘s electability, saying that “drama and chaos follow him.”
In an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Haley brushed off Trump’s massive lead in the polls, arguing that continued drama and controversy would take a toll on his electability.

“The problem is — drama and chaos follow him, whether fairly or not, it is constantly following him, and Americans feel it, and so I think you can look at that with our elections over and over again,” she said. “We pay the price for it, and I think what’s really important is we need to have someone who can win the general election as well.”
“I’ll tell you that I think people are getting tired of the drama and the chaos and the negativity,” Haley added.
Haley has stepped up her criticism of Trump in recent months as she battles with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for second place in the polls. As she once again specified on Sunday, she believes that Trump was “the right president for the right time,” but that his time has since passed.

Trump has severed connections with his former ally, often referring to her as Nikki “Birdbrain” Haley.
Though Haley has gained some ground in recent polls, Trump still dominates the field. A recent I&I/TIPP poll found Trump polling at 60% with Republican voters, compared to just 5% for Haley.
