Former President Donald Trump is speaking at a rally to voters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in preparation for the upcoming Iowa Republican caucuses.
Trump made an earlier appearance in Ankeny at the Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus event, where he re-emphasized his goal to close the borders, touted the support he received from a New England Black Lives Matter leader, and vowed to bring the country back to its former glory.

The Iowa caucuses, considered one of the first major milestones in the 2024 presidential race, will be held on Feb. 3, 2024. Trump will be competing for attention Sunday — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is holding a similar rally in Sioux City as part of his tour of all 99 counties in Iowa.
