The cause of death of a pregnant teenager and her boyfriend was released on Thursday, and police revealed new footage of the persons of interest in the Texas case.

The Bexar County medical examiner confirmed 18-year-old Savanah Soto’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, and Soto’s suspected boyfriend, Matthew Guerra’s, 22, cause of death was a contact gunshot wound to the head, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

The two were last seen on Friday, and the Texas Department of Public Safety issued a CLEAR Alert for Soto on Monday after she failed to show up at the hospital for an appointment to have her labor induced on Saturday.

On Tuesday, police said Soto and Guerra were found dead in a vehicle in San Antonio, and Soto’s unborn child was also deceased. San Antonio police said their bodies might have been in the car for three or four days and confirmed their deaths are now being investigated as a capital murder case.

During a Thursday press briefing, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus clarified Soto has yet to be identified by the medical examiner’s office but expressed confidence that the second victim was her.

“However, I think we can be confident that that second victim was Savanah,” McManus said.
