Federal investigators have launched an investigation into a viral video on YouTube that purports to show a Border Patrol agent allegedly exposing himself to onlookers while on the way to detain and transport illegal immigrants, the Washington Examiner has learned.

The unidentified federal law enforcement agent’s actions were posted online Tuesday in a 30-minute video shot by YouTuber Danny Mullen’s crew as the comedian and his co-hosts explored borderland near Jacumba Hot Springs, California, a remote area where immigrants who have crossed the Mexico border illegally set up camps as they wait to be taken into custody by Border Patrol.

Mullen and his co-stars, identified as actor Leo Dottavio and porn star Holly Day, were on site to film a clip about immigrants at the border when they approached a Border Patrol agent in a government vehicle.

“What kind of crew are you guys?” the agent asked the group. “So you guys are good people that happen to have a lot of fun?”

The three introduced themselves and told the agent that Day was a porn star, at which point the conversation quickly shifted to sexual banter, and the agent proudly showcased pictures on his phone of his penis.

“I want you to make these extra large shock absorbers bottom out,” one of the male hosts taunted the agent, referencing sexual acts that could be carried out in the agent’s large vehicle.

The agent, who described himself as being “400 pounds,” stayed behind his vehicle door, and his face was blurred to protect his identity. However, the agent did not hesitate to describe to the group the size of his genitals before revealing himself to the group while in uniform.

“Oh, it’s his penis,” Day said, later adding, “It was disgusting. It literally looked like it should be attached to an animal.”

The three reacted in shock at the agent’s forthrightness. The agent said he was married and then kissed Day.

“That was the most degenerate display of American law enforcement I’ve ever, ever seen,” Mullen said following the incident.

“We would be hard-pressed to find a fry cook at Wendy’s who would do something like that,” either Mullen or Dottavio said.

The agent was confirmed to be a legitimate Border Patrol employee on the job, according to the National Border Patrol Council, the union that represents rank-and-file agents. The video was first shared with the Washington Examiner on Tuesday by a Border Patrol agent in the region who said he had previously worked with the agent in the film.

A spokesperson for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the overseeing agency of the Border Patrol, told the Washington Examiner that the incident was under investigation by its Office of Professional Responsibility.

“We do not tolerate misconduct within our ranks. When we discover any alleged or potential misconduct, we immediately refer it for investigation and fully cooperate with any criminal or administrative investigations,” the CBP spokesperson said. “This is regardless of whether the alleged misconduct occurs on or off duty.”

The three hosts in the video moved on to a different nearby area where other Border Patrol agents instructed them not to interfere with federal law enforcement operations as immigrants were being taken into custody and transported.

One of the male hosts joked that if the agent got “fired” for his actions on camera, he could have a future in the adult film industry.

“If he gets clearly fired for this, which he might, he’s going to have an opportunity to do [porn] because he’s going to be the Border Patrol agent [intangible],” said one of the hosts. “Can you imagine, bro?”

CBP could not discuss additional details of the incident due to federal privacy laws concerning investigations.
