A United Airlines flight aborted takeoff while departing from Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Monday when one of its engines caught on fire.
United Flight 2091, which was scheduled to fly to Seattle, experienced a delay due to a problem with the engine that United said was “immediately addressed” by the local ground crew and emergency responders.
“I felt the impact on my window. As I looked, the engine was on fire and smoke was coming out,” One passenger, Ivan Paloalto, said to local outlet ABC 7 Chicago.
