Ousted Rep. George Santos (R-NY) released a set of predictions for cable news’s lineup in 2025, which he predicted would consist of multiple Republican ex-lawmakers.

Included in Santos’s predictions were Republican lawmakers who have said they will not seek reelection in 2024, including Reps. Ken Buck (R-CO), Patrick McHenry (R-NC), and Mike Gallagher (R-WI). Santos also included several former 2024 Republican presidential candidates, including former Vice President Mike Pence, Chris Christie, and Asa Hutchinson.

Additionally, Santos predicted that former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley, who is still running in the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential primary race, would join MSNBC.

Santos’s predictions could possibly be a joke, referencing how former Illinois Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger joined CNN as a senior political commentator after he left Congress. Kinzinger had criticized former President Donald Trump in the wake of the Capitol protest on Jan. 6.

It would not be the first time Santos has poked fun at his party either, as he jokingly asked last week if House Republicans missed him in the wake of his removal of office. House Republicans, who have a razor-thin majority, have struggled to achieve any serious progress due to failing to get the necessary votes within their own party.

Santos was expelled on Dec. 1, making him only the sixth House lawmaker to be voted out. A total of 311 House members, including 105 Republicans, voted for the expulsion.
