Arkansas State Police named the suspect in a shooting that left three killed and 11 wounded at a grocery store in Fordyce.

Law enforcement said in a press release Friday evening that Travis Eugene Posey, 44, of New Edinburg, will be charged with three counts of capital murder. Arkansas State Police said additional charges are pending as Posey is held at the Ouachita County Detention Facility.

The shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. Friday outside a Mad Butcher grocery store, 65 miles south of Little Rock, Arkansas. Two law enforcement officers received non-life-threatening injuries while exchanging gunfire with the shooter Friday, according to Mike Hagar, Arkansas State Police secretary of public safety and director. At least one of the nine others injured are in critical condition.

A witness told Fox News he saw a medevac land at the local hospital’s helipad and said that “multiple agencies were down here trying to figure out what was going on.” Another witness said the shooter “destroyed a community today.”
