Faced with a string of controversies stemming from President Joe Biden‘s son, the Biden family has shown it seemingly has more in common with HBO’s The Sopranos than the ordinary, regular, everyday American family.
From Hunter Biden’s indiscretions with drugs and prostitutes to accusations of money laundering to lucrative appointments on companies in exchange for what appeared to be access to then-Vice President Joe Biden, the Biden family has earned a tarnished reputation in recent years. Now comes the revelation that Hallie Biden stashed Hunter Biden’s gun in grocery trash cans. This is an entitled and elitist family that is corrupt to its core.
During testimony on Thursday at Hunter Biden’s trial, Hallie Biden confessed to throwing the president’s son’s gun in a grocery store trash can in 2018. She also admitted to using illicit drugs such as cocaine with the president’s son. Clearly, these are the actions of a normal, classy family. After all, who hasn’t smoked crack, snorted cocaine, and stashed a gun in a grocery store trash can at some point in life?
In trying to explain her actions, Hallie Biden, the widow of President Joe Biden’s son Beau Biden and the former flame of Hunter Biden, said that she tossed the gun and ammunition because she panicked after discovering the gun in Hunter Biden’s truck.
“I panicked, and I wanted to get rid of them,” she said.
One of the most concerning revelations might be the carelessness with which the gun was handled. For a president who has repeatedly scolded legal gun owners and rebuked members of the National Rifle Association, his own family has demonstrated to be part of the problem with how they handle firearms. At a time when gun violence plagues the country, largely due to the use of illegal gun sales and ownership, the president’s daughter-in-law did arguably one of the worst things a person could do to get rid of a gun.

One could only imagine the legacy media response had this been one of the children of former President Donald Trump. The hypocritical silence is deafening.
However, this is indicative of the elitism, privilege, and corruption at the core of Biden’s family. Hallie Biden thought she was too big to fail, above the law, and could get away with stashing a gun in a trash can because she didn’t think she would be held accountable for her actions. She apologized in court for her decisions, but it seems abundantly clear she wasn’t sorry for throwing the gun away in a trash can. She was just sorry that she was caught doing it.
