Two adults are being charged with murder in connection to the Kansas City Super Bowl parade shooting, in addition to the two juveniles already facing charges.
The charges against the juveniles in connection with the shooting are unknown, but the two adults charged on Tuesday are being blamed for the single fatality in the shooting, that of 43-year-old Lisa Lopez-Galvan. Lyndell Mays and Dominic Miller are being charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon, KMBC 9 News reported.
According to prosecutors, the two attended the Feb. 14 parade armed with firearms. After a heated altercation, Mays pulled out his gun, starting a gunfight that hit more than 20 people. Prosecutors believe that other people, in addition to Miller and Mays, also pulled out firearms. Mays and Miller were among those hit by the gunfire and are still recovering in the hospital.
Miller and Mays are not believed to have known each other previously.
