Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard issued a scathing criticism of her former Democratic Party, this time accusing politicians of attempting to become God in today’s society.
Gabbard appeared on CBN News Wednesday to discuss her latest book, For Love of Country: Leave the Democrat Party Behind. In the book, she writes that her party has “walked away from God,” particularly when it comes to gender transition treatments for children.
“They themselves are removing these guardrails in our society that the truth then becomes whatever they deem it to be putting themselves in that position of trying to be God,” Gabbard said. “It is clearly a form of child abuse, them targeting the most vulnerable people in our country who don’t have the ability to, as an adult does, to make clear decisions for themselves.”
According to Gabbard, Democrats have great influence due to their partners in Big Tech and the legacy media. The former Hawaii representative, who left the Democratic Party to become an independent, warned that “their collusion is all working towards one specific purpose: They want power.”

As for herself, Gabbard is a practicing Hindu. Her mother is a convert, and Gabbard has followed what she calls the “spiritual practice” from the time she was young. As a result, she remains dedicated to being “pleasing to God first and foremost.”
Gabbard is rumored to be on former President Donald Trump’s short list for vice president.
