Former President Donald Trump said on Friday that he will be attending Sneaker Con in Philadelphia this weekend.

“Looking forward to being at Sneakercon at the Philadelphia Convention Center, Pennsylvania, at 3 P.M. ET on Saturday. Then leaving for a Big Rally in Michigan!” Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Friday afternoon.

Trump is holding a “Get Out the Vote” rally in Waterford Township, Michigan, on Saturday evening, ahead of the state’s primary election, which is set to take place on Feb. 27.

For the first time, Philadelphia will host Sneaker Con, the biggest convention for buyers, sellers, and traders of rare sneakers. The event will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from noon to 7 p.m.

A spokesperson for the Convention Center confirmed Trump’s appearance to the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the former president is slated to address the crowd at 3 p.m.

Trump will be speaking in the Democratic-led city in President Joe Biden’s home state. Biden is leading Trump narrowly in Pennsylvania, according to a Quinnipiac University poll from January. 49% of registered voters support Biden, while 46% support Trump.

The news comes after a New York judge ordered Trump and executives at the Trump Organization to pay over $350 million following the monthslong civil fraud trial in New York. Trump has been barred from serving as a director of any New York corporation for three years. Trump also can’t receive a loan from banks registered in New York. His sons Eric and Donald Jr. are barred from serving as directors of any New York corporation for two years.
