The sculpture, set up at the Lincoln Memorial, is from the Secret Handshake and is the group’s second display on the National Mall to protest the Trump administration this month. The statue includes a plaque calling it “A Throne Fit for a King,” as well as a description of the display, according to WTOP.

“In a time of unprecedented division, escalating conflict, and economic turmoil, President Trump focused on what truly mattered: remodeling the Lincoln Bathroom in the White House,” the description reads. “This, his crowning achievement, is a bold reminder that the president isn’t just a businessman, he’s taking care of business. It stands as a tribute to an unwavering visionary who looked down, saw a problem, and painted it gold.”

President Donald Trump is remodeling the White House during his second term in office, particularly the Oval Office and Rose Garden. He is also working on a ballroom for the White House, which will include a military bunker.

The White House brushed off the criticism of Trump’s remodeling when the Washington Examiner asked about the display.

“President Trump is making the White House and our entire Nation’s Capital more beautiful than ever before,” a White House spokesperson said. “The president will never stop working on behalf of the American people and fulfill the promises that he was overwhelmingly elected to do.”

Secret Handshake is also behind a pair of statues displayed on the National Mall depicting Trump with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the most recent display, which happened in mid-March. That statue recreated an iconic moment from the 1997 film Titanic, and depicted Trump and Epstein as the film’s main characters, Jack and Rose.

TRUMP SUED OVER KENNEDY CENTER PLANS AS PRESERVATIONISTS WARN LEGACY ‘IN PERIL’

Trump said he and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum are working on cleaning up the “absolutely filthy” reflecting pool between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial on Tuesday. He claimed this was “supposed” to be done by the Biden administration, but “Sleepy Joe doesn’t know what ‘CLEAN’ or proper maintenance is.”

The Washington Examiner contacted the National Park Service for comment.
