Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley spent her town hall Sunday attacking her primary opponent, Donald Trump, for his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Fox News’s town hall for Haley included questions from the audience. One attendee asked Haley how she would confront foreign adversaries and pointed out Trump’s attitude toward Putin.

“He was completely wrong because every time he was in the same room with him [Putin], he got weak in the knees,” Haley said of Trump. “We can’t have a president that gets weak in the knees with Putin. We have to have a president that’s going to be strong with Putin in every sense of the word.”

The former U.N. ambassador’s comments came just days after she blasted Trump’s silence surrounding Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s death. Haley claimed that Putin was behind the mysterious death and was “the same Putin who Donald Trump praises and defends.”

Despite their differing attitudes toward the Russian leader, Haley continued her promise to pardon Trump should he be found guilty of federal charges. However, she insisted she will not be dropping out of the race after another audience member pointed out the gap between her and Trump.

“We don’t anoint kings in this country; we let the people vote,” Haley said, repeating a slogan she’s said on the campaign trail before.
